The number one reason people fail or injure themselves when trying to sing with distortion or scream is because they don’t warm up correctly. They don’t know how to get in touch with the state of their voice and coax it into being ready for distorted singing!

Once you learn how to feel out your voice and warm up in a way that builds on certain key sensations, you’ll not only be able to belt out some paint-peeling screams and wails… You’ll be able to do it for a LONG TIME with no pain or fatigue!

Let me show you how to do it. I use melody lines from some of my favorite vocalists to warm up my distorted singing. I don’t do things in the way you might expect though. I’m not just singing through songs.

I’m using melodies I love as ways to awaken my distorted voice and I have a very specific method that works for me every time!
