I Really Misjudged Kurt Cobain

Why are we still so drawn to Kurt’s voice and music after all these years? The answer is more complicated than it seems and more RELEVANT today than ever!

We are not drawn to ‘wrote’… We are not drawn to “good”. We can’t relate to that supremely accurate performance. Kurt gave us permission to be ourselves… To be raw… To put expression before the pursuit of our narrow aspirations of proficiency.

This is why we love Kurt. It’s not good. It’s not right… And as a result… It’s just PERFECT!
